Adult Group Classes

Beginner - Adult Advanced
10 week Session
Begins the week of June 2, 2008

Instruction by level

Each Skater will receive proper skating instruction for their appropriate level. Skaters will learn the proper way to stretch, in order to prevent injury and increase flexibility.

Levels offered and examples of elements taught:

• Pre Alpha: learn how to fall and get up, 2 ft. glide, forward swizzles and snowplow stop.
• Alpha: 1 foot glides, 1 ft. snowplow stop, forward crossovers.
• Beta: Back stroking, t-stop,backcrossovers
• Gamma: Three turns, mohawks, hockey stop
• Delta: Forward inside & outside edges, lunges, bunny hop
• Freestyle: back inside & outside edges, waltz jump, flip, spiral, 2 ft spin

When enrolled in our Adult Skating School Classes you will receive

FREE admission to any of our public sessions. We encourage all of our skaters to practice and take advantage of this free ice time. Also, if you re-enroll into our Adult Classes you will receive a 10% discount. Each skater will also receive 3 FREE guest passes, where you can bring friends and family to skate with you!
